Jerry Moffatt Book Signing - Monday 26th Jan

Climbing Legend Jerry Moffatt will be at The Foundry signing copies of his new autobiography, Revelations this coming Monday evening (26th Jan).

Here's the publishers spiel on the book: When Jerry Moffatt burst onto the scene as a brash 17-year-old, rock climbing had never seen anyone like him before. Fiercely ambitious, even as a boy Moffatt was focused on one thing: being the best in the world. This is the story of his meteoric rise to stardom, and how he overcame injury to stay at the top for over two decades. Top sport climber, brilliant competitor and a pioneer in the new game of bouldering, Moffatt’s story is that of climbing itself in the last thirty years.

Yet Jerry Moffatt is more than a dedicated athlete. Travelling the world to fulfil his dreams, his story is a compelling and often hilarious account of the climbing community with all its glories, dangers and foibles, as well as the story of a true sporting legend.

Resetting of the FiveTen Main Wall

Resetting is in progress this week and will be completed by friday.

There is already a new layback feature on line G. New volumes have been added to the stepped roofs. There is now a range of grades - from 4+ to 8A+. By the end of the week you'll find a wide variety of routes within that grade range. We'll be involving lots more volumes in the routes, whilst maintaining a number of more basic routes for training on.

As always, let us know what you think of the new routes.

Hope you enjoy the climbing!

Rob
